Description
Features
Mist Wired Assurance
Claim, configure and troubleshoot switches with a few clicks. Wired Assurance delivers better experiences for connected devices through AI-powered automation and service level expectations (SLEs) with Mist’s AI engine and microservices cloud.
The EX Switches provide rich streaming telemetry data to enable the insights for switch health metrics and anomaly detection. Streamline IT operations, reduce mean time to repair, and deliver optimized experiences across wired and wireless.
Virtual Chassis
EX2300 Virtual Chassis configurations operate as highly resilient unified systems, providing simplified management.
Virtual Chassis technology connects up to four EX2300 switches to operate as a single logical device, reducing operational expenses and simplifying management.
Entry-Level Multigigabit Switch
Future-proof investments using existing cabling infrastructure as the industry transitions and standardizes on multigigabit speeds.
The EX2300 multigigabit switches can interoperate with other EX Series switches in Virtual Chassis deployments, protecting your existing investments by enabling you to add multigigabit support to existing Juniper deployments. And add high bandwidth capabiilities for IoT and smart devices while expanding and improving Wi-Fi without having to rip and replace cables.
Eight QoS Queues
Eight QoS queues per switch port ensure proper prioritization of voice, video, and multiple levels of data traffic, with room to converge other networks, such as building automation and video security systems.
The EX2300 also supports a wide range of policy options, including strict priority, low latency, weighted random early detection (WRED), and shaped-deficit weighted round robin (SDWRR) queuing.
Overview
The EX2300 Multigigabit Ethernet Switch delivers a compact 1 RU high-density solution for small network environments with space, power, and budget constraints. It offers 1/2.5GbE multigigabit access ports for 802.11ac Wave 2 access points, making them ideal platforms for access layer refreshes or new greenfield campus and branch deployments.
The switches offer IEEE 802.3af Power over Ethernet (PoE)/802.3at PoE+ for powering attached network devices. The EX2300 is cloud-ready and ZTP-enabled, so it can be onboarded, provisioned and managed with Wired Assurance, to deliver better experiences for connected devices. EX2300 Multigigabit switches integrate with Juniper’s industry-leading Virtual Chassis technology to simplify operations by consolidating the management of up to four switches into one logical device.
