Features

Mist Wired Assurance

Claim, configure and troubleshoot switches with a few clicks. Wired Assurance delivers better experiences for connected devices through AI-powered automation and service level expectations (SLEs) with Mist’s AI engine and microservices cloud.

The EX Switches provide rich streaming telemetry data to enable the insights for switch health metrics and anomaly detection. Streamline IT operations, reduce mean time to repair, and deliver optimized experiences across wired and wireless.

Virtual Chassis

With Virtual Chassis technology, up to ten interconnected EX4600 switches operate as a single logical device, reducing operational expenses and simplifying management.

EX4300 line of Ethernet switches with Virtual Chassis technology combines the carrier-class reliability of modular systems with the economics and flexibility of stackable platforms, delivering a high-performance, scalable solution for data center, campus, and branch office environments.

PoE++

The EX4300 Multigigabit switch supports the 802.3bt standard for PoE, supplying up to 95 watts per port for increased requirements of devices such as Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) terminals, IP phones, and access points.

By providing 15.4 watts of Class 3 802.3af PoE on all ports to power VoIP telephones, closed-circuit security cameras, wireless access points, and other IP-enabled devices, the EX4300 delivers a future-proofed solution for converging disparate networks onto a single IP infrastructure.

MACsec AES256 Support

Support for IEEE 802.1ae (MACsec AES256) for link-layer data confidentiality, data integrity, and data origin authentication enables 88 Gbps of near line-rate, hardware-based traffic encryption on all 1GbE and 10GbE switches.

The EX4300 multigigabit switch also enables higher levels of Media Access Control Security (MACsec) AES256 encryption on all access and uplink ports, protecting customer traffic from unauthorized access.

Campus Fabric

Switches are connected as an IP fabric with EVPN-VXLAN overlay. The IP fabric can extend to connect multiple enterprise buildings, while VXLAN allows stretching Layer 2 (L2) across the network.

Overview

The EX4300 Multigigabit Ethernet Switch is a high-performance access switch for advanced branch or campus deployments. The modern campus environment must adapt to 802.11ac Wave II standards and accommodate devices that require multigigabit speeds of 1/2.5/5/10GbE and greater power connectivity (PoE++), up to 95W per port for high-density IP telephony, surveillance cameras, and/or wireless access point deployments.

The EX4300 is cloud-ready and ZTP-enabled, so it can be onboarded, provisioned and managed with Wired Assurance, to deliver better experiences for connected devices. All access and uplink ports on the EX4300 Multigigabit switch are MACsec AES256-compliant for increased network security. The EX4300 supports Juniper’s Virtual Chassis technology for interconnecting up to 10 switches that can be managed as a single device.
